Inside Client Relationship Manager

Job Description


The account manager is responsible for reviewing and analyzing client accounts, recommending services to help their business, and working with the service team to facilitate a smooth transition. Account managers must be able to effectively listen to client requests or issues and work with the service manager do develop a plan for resolution. This position must enjoy working with many people across different industries to help them build their organizations without technology hassles.

Duties and Expectations

  • Work with small to medium size business clients to review service tickets and trends

  • Identify weaknesses in client service delivery and report to the service manager

  • Regularly attend networking events, including after-hours events, sponsored by Chambers of Commerce and other business networking organizations and businesses in the Central Illinois to build relationships, set appointments and provide product demonstrations

  • Adopt an effective system for obtaining referrals from current clients and working with centers of influence within the various local communities

  • Collaborate with the Inside Sales Representative for effective sales messages and prospecting activities

  • Establish regular and timely prospect/customer follow-up and call plan strategies and tactics

  • Conducts post installation follow-up calls to clients to ensure commitments were met and generating referrals.

  • Achieve daily and weekly activity targets

  • Maintain ongoing functional knowledge of current products and services

  • Assists in the preparation of all customer quote documentation in a timely manner

  • Maintains record of all sales activities in company's sales management tracking software

  • Support and participate in marketing and promotional activities

  • Be willing to travel over a 50 mile territory

Minimum Requirements:

College Degree

2 to 3 years sales experience

Valid driver license with clean driving record

Self-starter with strong work ethic

Able to work independently and in a team environment

Comfortable in networking events

Ability to listen and communicate effectively

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Prior experience in insurance or professional services industry

Marketing background

Experience working with small to medium size companies

Functional knowledge of customer relationship management software

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
